Fashion and Clothing

I was trying to recreate the fashion from one of my favourite Rihanna music videos today with my character in ourWorld but I realised there wasn’t a great enough variety of clothing to be able to get the right matches with jeans, jackets and jewellery. It just goes to show how much more room there is for the team at ourWorld to expand there normal fashion ranges.

With all the posts i’ve been writing about the game I wanted to write one about OurWorld from a new visitors perspective. So I decided to cover hair styles, one of my favourite parts of the girls world. There are just so many you can choose from in OurWorld and a lot of the cool styles can be bought with gold coins meaning you don’t even need gems to them off.

Here are pictures from the closing rounds of the ‘i am dracula’ fashion contest in Our World, another contest similar to two previous halloween contests – halloween ‘too scary’ fancy dress competition and ‘pirates on board’ . From the shots shown below I was so impressed by the finalist’s fashions, some of the girls looked really scary!

So here’s my second entry into a fashion contest in ourWorld, this time it’s a pink and black theme contest and I have made an even bigger effort to get further than I did in the summer contest (round 2). You can check my entry and what I’m wearing below:

Here are pictures from the 9th round of the ‘pirates on board’ fashion contest in Our World, another contest similar to the halloween ‘too scary’ fancy dress competition covered last week. The 9th round of an in game fashion contest features the top 39 voted for players. As you can see from the shots below, there were some entries that long john silver himself would have been proud of!

Mr. Mole‘s Mystery Mart is a shop in Wonderland which opens only on Fridays. Nine items will be available each Friday and some of these items sell for very high prices, like 1million coins in the marketplace. The same items usually come in different colors each week. Today’s items are:

I haven’t posted about an in game fashion contest for a while but seen as how I covered the items in the mystery frightbox I thought I might as well snap some of the players already collecting this cool stuff and competing against one another in a too scary game! I also discovered something cool whilst voting on the competition. I’m not sure how long this has been in the game for? But you can now buy roses and tomatoes to throw at contestants whilst you are voting as a sign of whether you think they look cool…

Contests are quite popular in ourWorld and quite many people enter them regularly. So what are they??

Well contests in ourworld are where you enter in an outfit that you are currently wearing against lots of other people. Everyone in ourWorld can vote and they find a winner. There are lots of different types of contests varying form “cutest” to “fancy dress” to “monsters”.
